I ask because I compete trampolining and a very small branch off from that called double mini tramp.

Just thought it'd be nice to share any other uncommon sports people might do.

Many years ago I used to play waterpolo...

That is unusual! I haven't got a clue about waterpolo! I don't know if there's a ball or how you win or anything!

I honestly used to wonder how they get the horses in the swimming pool for water polo when I was (a bit) younger.

What?! You mean they don't play with horses?!

Cardio Tennis has started at Redbridge Sports Centre. It's a fantastic workout and really fun to up beat music. It doesn't matter if you have never played before. :-) It doesn't even matter if you never hit the ball.

Don't know if this counts but I've been learning kickboxing for about five months. Great fun, love it!

I've played both water and canoe polo in my time. Now 'just' a triathlete smile

Littlechief my SIL plays Octopush!

I used to play canoe polo, I was also a slalom canoeist before kids.

I do taekwondo and have recently started going to a proper boxing club, love both. I'm not a nutter either, I'm 42 and usually pretty mild mannered!

i used to do loads of jiu jitsu... now i mountain bike, including sometimes 'freeriding' (ie. jumping)... i've also recently been for a few bmx lessons, not so unusual maybe, but quite unusual i think for a 36yr old woman!

celtic you should. It's awesome. Women's races have a great atmosphere, really inclusive and a sprint distance isn't too horrifying

I want to do a winter triathlon, I got bronchitis before the last one I was meant to do. The cycling bit freaks me out a bit, though.

Now I just play unicycle hockey occasionally .
I used to ride off road unicycle- racing and orienteering. I would also enter unicycle 10km and track races at European events, but I wasn't very good at those disciplines and the UK has no structure to support them.

Back in my student days I played canoe polo badly.
Once or twice I have played stilt football.

I used to play underwater hockey. I did it for years and was <cough> quite good at it actually.

For fun and to warm up we ussed to play underwater rugby. Now taht is a bizzare sport
