Congrats Jenson and Jessica!

Will Lewis and Nico snipe at each other all season? Will little Verstappen (must stop calling him Jos jr) impress in his first race? Will Ferrari and McLaren improve or still be a bit shit? Can't wait for Melbourne!

I think McLaren are likely to have learned a fair bit from the last season, and they have a new engine partnership. Honda have a good record, though this ruling seems a little unfair at first sight.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Bottas and Ricciardo deliver this season!

Great to still have Jenson for another season. Enjoyed the end of season Jenson love in the BBC provided.

Hopefully the engine ruling will be turned over bloodly stupid rule.

Ricciardo is just so fantastic would love to see him do really well this year.

Glad we get Canada, Spa and Suzuka live. Hate not seeing the season opener in Australia live.

Who are your favourite drivers? I've always been a Jenson fan but Ricciardo impressed last year. Looking forward to the new season after reading about the first day of testing today. 6 weeks!

So chuffed Jenson got the drive, I'm hoping he will show Alonso a thing or two.

What does everyone think of the new cars? The Red Bull is, er.... striking. they're not keeping that, are they?

I thought the design on the Red Bull was just a prototype! It looks like they've some teenagers with spray paints loose on it!!

At least the Ferrari is (marginally) better looking than last year's

I enjoyed watching Ricciardo on Top Gear. I have also heard that the Red Bull design is a prototype.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing how Jenson and Alonso work as team mates, and I can't believe this will be Jenson's 16th season!

Wow, Alonso must have had a nasty shunt there. Glad he is OK.

OK, I have set up a league on this fantasy F1 page. It is passworded so PM me if you want to join in. I can't even remember who won last year, but it wasn't me. The league is called Mumsnet F1, it should be listed on the leagues page unless I've cocked it up.

There were rumours online yesterday that Alonso might not drive in Oz. I only watched a bit of QoS yesterday but I cynically wondered if this was a bit of good publicity for CH after the Geri Halliwell shenanigans

I was busy last night but hopefully I'll get chance to watch it tonight. So has everyone gone right off CH now? I've heard that the Spice Girls are doing a reunion gig for the wedding.

Yep the Spice Girls aren't going to miss an opportunity like that are they. (Can you tell I'm not a fan). He got a right slating in the press for leaving his DP and very small DC, tbf I was never his or Red Bull's greatest supporter. I was always McLaren with soft spot for Frank Williams. DS is a huge Red Bull fan, but he is only 6 so there is time yet
