You may know we are working with Mothercare on a range of projects this year.

Following a webchat with their CEO we are now recruiting MNers to go along to the flagship Edmonton (North London) store for a special event.

Here's some info about this unique store: www.mothercare.com/mothercare-edmonton-store/edmonton-store,default,pg.html

Details of this event
Edmonton Store Event
Thursday 9th May 2013
2-5pm - you are welcome to arrive at any point during this time and stay for 10 mins or the whole session if you like!

~ children/ babies welcome
~ you can bring your partner/ friend etc
~ with regret no travel costs will be paid
~ parking available at the store

address and directions here

At the event you'll be taken on a tour of the store and receive expert advice from Mothercare's trained staff and parenting consultant. You'll be able to see all the latest collections and meet some of their buyers and play with the toys in Early Learning Centre!

Also drinks and nibbles will be served and each attending MNer will get a goody bag...as well as (hopefully) some surprises.

In return we'd love you to add your feedback and photos from the event about the store on a thread on Mumsnet. Take your smart phone or camera along and you'll be able to add a photo to the feedback thread. As a thank you for attending there will be a prize draw for a £50 Mothercare voucher to be won by one MNer who adds their feedback or photo to the thread.

If you are able to attend please can you add your details on this form so we can put you on the list.

I'm really sorry, I filled in the form to say I could go but now I am unable to. My husband is starting a new job which I am very pleased about but it means he can't pick up the children from school and nursery. Hope everyone has fun. x

Sorry I am not going to make it - have to go into work (on my day off!) hmm

MrsDeVere Thu 09-May-13 12:26:42

I am going.
smile

Just leaving now. Amazing store!

youmaycallmeSSP Thu 09-May-13 16:29:45

All the MNers I saw were very glam; please tell me you all dressed up for the occasion!

MrsDeVere Thu 09-May-13 16:47:36

No! I always wear those metallic hotpants and sequined boob tube.
Thats ma' casual stylee.

MrsDeVere Thu 09-May-13 16:48:10

I had to leave early and I didn't want to go home sad

Its more fun at Mothercare than in a house full of hungry kids grin

I live round the bloody corner from Edmonton Mothercare.
But....my children are too old. 9,14 and 15 means I have not been in Mothercare for ages.
It's not fair.

I wish I had just passed by and played "spot the mumsnetters"

Do you all live nearby then?? Do I have mumsnetter neighbours??

MrsDeVere Thu 09-May-13 17:30:37

You have me <dons dark glasses and mustache>

I am not even supposed to be here! I sort of flounced this week but I had forgotten about this and the feedback etc.

Ooops

You just can't keep away MrsD grin

Imagine, we may have bumped into each other in Tesco or ikea!

Just look out for the person with one teenage daughter walking 2 feet ahead, texting like mad, one teenage son walking 2 feet behind with headphones and a cap on in case anyone sees him and me doing "loud parenting" north london stylee grin

MrsDeVere Thu 09-May-13 17:49:19

grin
I am usually with a selection of small brown boys with large hair.
I do loud parenting too.
The 'Oi! gerrof that bleedin' wardrobe' type grin

Yep, that's the loud parenting.

No you cannot get into the bed. Because I said so. Because its a display. JUST GET OFF

Mine have large hair too. grin

DS1 is growing his hair because he wants cornrows.
I want to shave it off whilst he is sleeping.

youmaycallmeSSP Thu 09-May-13 18:23:42

Oh so that was you. I was slumming it in muddy boots grin

Not close here sadly, we only just got home. It took an hour to get out of London. No wonder people who actually live there don't drive!

I somehow misplaced my oyster and DS's raincover so we missed it sad

Did I miss anything good? Tell me it was rubbish? smile
