To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like to hear all about the things you like to do to have fun as a family.

Do check out our the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to which help you bond".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do to have fun as a family?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

We do mad science, anything from "dancing gloop" in speaker cones to spaghetti marshmallow towers to Lego racing cars to meccano bridges.
My favourite was the time I challenged the DCs to drop a raw egg from an upstairs window to the ground without breaking it. Points for speed, ingenuity and style. They told all their friends we would do it, so by the day of the challenge half the neighbourhood kids were here too.
12 children, ranging in age from 4 to 13 (two of those were mine) found 20 different ways to drop the egg, from parachutes to guttering, packaging to party hat on a string. Out of 16 eggs, 9 were still intact at the end of the day so we had homemade quiche for dinner.

We like going out with all the aunts and grandparents and doing something we can all get involved in - somewhere outdoors with pretty gardens for the adults to enjoy and things for the little ones to play and climb on. Most important is somewhere to stop and eat together whether it's a picnic we've brought with us or sitting in the coffee shop.

We love to get out on our bikes / scooters, explore the woods & get busy doing some gardening together. Coffee / babycino breaks in the cafe always go down well too.

We love to get out in the hills. DD (2y9) likes to walk as much as possible or bring her bike if it's not hilly. With important stops to collect pine cones, stones, leaves or even find a geocache. DS (4m) travels in the sling so likes to watch his sister or sleep. If we manage to get up a decent size hill, DD will also temporarily go in a sling but that definitely takes two adults!

My DDs and I love to bake and decorate our cakes or biscuits, then we take one each to enjoy at the beach or swing park. Simple but lovely fun.

Baking, nature hunts, crafts, conkering, picnics, the seaside. Love family days :)

Collecting autumn leaves, flying a kite and walking home via a local farmers market to get some yummy treats make a great autumn family day out.

In the summer nothing beats a day out at the beach - making sand castles, playing beach tennis or football and snacking on fish and chips followed by ice cream.

We like to go in geocaching adventures in the woods or out in the countryside

Favourite things: walks in the park and along the beach, days on the beach, board games in the evenings and especially on Christmas Day, visits to museums/art galleries, all sorts of crafts, baking/cooking (especially if chocolate is involved!).

We love family walks with the dog in the woods or on the beach, movie nights, days out on the train and eating out. We make sure we do something every weekend, even if it's just for an hour or two, as now the DD's are teens their social lives seem to be fuller than mine.

For me and my son we bond playing computer games as a team against other players online or the computer.
He loves that we play together and I think he likes bossing me about on how to play the game.

Mine are older kids and we like exploring big parks and climbing trees! For days out we sometimes take the train out to the country and do a country walk - nice to get away from the crowds and see something different.

Fun for us is simply getting outside, going for a ramble, climbing trees, looking for nature, chatting, laughing and all without spending a penny!!

We like to bake lots of cakes and try and make it like the Great British bake off and judge the cakes which is usually very funny.

We like to go away as often as we can, we recently spent 4 weeks in Orlando visiting all the theme parks :)

We were given National Trust membership for Christmas, and it's great all year round for all the family. It also means whenever we go away for a break, there's something nearby for us to visit and do. Fingers crossed we get it again this year!

Treasure Hunts in the woods is something we love to do together - one of us will write a list (i.e. feather, white stone, etc.) and the other two have to go off and find those things first. It really is great fun!
