Moshi Monsters: The Movie hits the big screens on 20 December and features some exciting new Moshlings! So we want to hear about what sort of Moshling you'd create if you had the chance!

It could be based on an existing Moshi Monster or one you'd like to create from scratch - what colour or shape would he/ she be, what skills would it have and most importantly what name would it have? grin

Are you Mr Snoodle, Poppet or perhaps Luvli?

In the movie you can "join Katsuma, Poppet, Mr. Snoodle, and the other Moshi Monsters in an action-packed, song-filled race against time! What's Dr. Strangeglove up to now... ?"

My boys love Moshi Monsters. I'll have a look at the Mumsnet Moshi page

Daughter age 5 would make an ice cream seller for ok last lane, covered in sauce and sprinkles.

DAughter age 7 would make a rock star Moshe playing guitar and having short hair. Sorry about spelling, auto correct

moldingsunbeams Thu 05-Dec-13 17:44:07

DD would like a golden dragon Moshi which breaths glitter fire please, it would be a little bit cute but also a little bit scary.

moldingsunbeams Thu 05-Dec-13 17:53:23

and it would be called dragongoldfire apparently.

DS (7) reckons he'd like a Moshi that looked like a mini Carcharodontasaurus (little dinosaur) but fatter and rounder, and it's skill would be eating (much like him…) To be named Donty.

DD (9) thinks a Moshi that looks like a big shaggy white dog, with purple streaks in its hair would be cool and she would call it Poodle! (she really really wants a real dog but she isn't getting one!) It would be good at running.

Nerfmother Thu 05-Dec-13 18:20:50

ds (6) would have ''SuperHairy it would be all furry with a cape and red things around its eyes.''
ds (8) would have ''mine would be named Hector he'd be a robot who had his own single, Titanium, he'd be made out of metal, he'd be shiny, he'd be gold, no silver. And it would have a crystal in its head.''

Moshi craze has passed us by - will google smile

DD is in bed, but I'll ask her tomorrow after school grin

Dd is forever creating Moshi Monsters based loosely on herself and her friends. She says she'd have one that was super geeky wearing glasses in a figure eight shape. It would be black and white with rainbow coloured feet and hands. She'd call it Alberta (loosely related to Einstein)

maybefaraway Thu 05-Dec-13 21:32:58

Dd would like a Moshi called "Beethoven Rose".

Apparently, it would have big green eyes and be a tortoiseshell coloured dog.

I am told Beethoven Rose would love dancing and would be able to jump very high.

Theimpossiblegirl Thu 05-Dec-13 21:39:56

DD1 would create a fluffy unicorn that farts rainbows apparently, named after herself so I can't say. hmm
DD2 is alseep so I'll ask her tomorrow.

Perhaps people might look at this which kind of puts me off Moshi monsters now, even though dd (who has a 'disfigurement') loves them sad

My DS has thankfully stayed clear til now. had a brief moment of danger, when last year's christmas cards were moshi monsters, but we gave them all away, so that was that!

Hopezibah Thu 05-Dec-13 23:09:59

My boys are forever inventing new moshlings. They have over the years drawn literally hundreds of new ones. One of their favourite designs is 'Maths Mash' who is blue with a fish's tail and big teeth. He loves to do maths sums really quickly.

My other son's invention is a red moshling called 'pop' - he is round like a blown up piece of bubble gum and when you click on his he 'pops'

AngryFeet Thu 05-Dec-13 23:38:14

Dd and ds are big moshi fans. Dd says she would make a moshi called Poppy - a popcorn moshi that looks like a red and white stripy popcorn box and when she gets excited the corn starts to pop smile

CMOTDibbler Fri 06-Dec-13 10:42:29

Ds wanted to play moshi online for ages. Then he found that without buying things it wasn't good and says that Moshi monsters is all about trying to get you to buy things and is boycotting it all

MrsSippie Fri 06-Dec-13 10:46:35

Please check out the 'don't call me freakface' as above campaign too smile

CMOTDibbler Fri 06-Dec-13 10:53:56

MrsSippie, yes I've seen the 'don't call me freakface' campaign and fully support it. Ds hasn't seen the offending moshlings but has commented before about people with scars being the bad one and says 'but mummy, your scars don't make you bad or scary'

MrsSippie Fri 06-Dec-13 10:57:28

Great stuff thank you smile

moldingsunbeams Fri 06-Dec-13 11:21:25

Thanks, I have not heard of the campaign and had not seen the offending moshi either.

HannahLI Fri 06-Dec-13 12:21:31

On speaking to my DS he says - Mr Carrotty and he would be orange and in the shape of a carrot.

Belo Fri 06-Dec-13 14:39:08

There was a competition to design a moshling in the magazine a couple of months back. My DD designed 'postie'. He was a red postbox and helped members send messages to each other. She didn't win fsad.

DD1's (8yo) Moshling would be called Banger, and he is a cannon in the Royal Moshling army. He is in the Noisies set. He has golden swirls covering his body, and when he makes a bang he can't hear himself and thinks the noise is music because of the swirls over his ears. He likes Bang Bang, who is a lady cannon Moshling, who plays sweet bangs.

He dislikes the Yukkies and their disgusting ways.

Don't send him off or you'll go flying.

Chocotrekkie Fri 06-Dec-13 19:21:03

My dd would design a glasses wearing dog with blue fluffy hair.
