Hello. I want to hear about your children's experiences! I'm writing a booklet for teachers to help them understand the issues that young people with chronic illnesses (often invisible) face. I'd really love to add some quotes from young people in the booklet, so that your voices can be heard. I'm looking for bad experiences that you may have had at school (what were they, and how did they make you feel - what could have been done better?), good experiences you may have had at school (what did the school/teachers do to help that worked? How did they show their understanding and make things better at school?), the impact that being ill had on you at school (did teachers understand, did the school make the appropriate allowances?), etc. Anything really that you'd like teachers to hear. You can send any comments to [email protected]
Thanks so much in advance!!
