Hi 2shoes,
I am here!
My ds has severe learning disabilities, double incontinence, severe epilepsy,cp,ps,hi,and the ability of about a 15 month old toddler on a good day.He is very sociable, and can talk but mostly mimicry with the odd sensible phrase if he is spooked or unhappy.I will try and answer any queries about the "future"-hope I can help!

Yes he still lives at home.He goes to a Day Centre 5 days a week and also we recieve respite about 25 nights a year.
What about your sn dc,could you tell me a bit about him or her.
I found my ds the most difficult at 7.
I think it takes years and years to get your head round the difficulties.I hardly find it difficult at all now although he is physically very tiring and emotionally draining.I think I have adapted!!He is much more difficult on every level but I sort of raised my game grin
