DS 12 was diagnosed with hypermobility & dyspraxia traits when 8. Now finishing yr 7 and having settled really well been recognised for effort, kindness etc is struggling to keep up. Also put on weight and poor muscle tone. Saw him in school play and really struck how clumsy his movements seem. Handwriting laborious.

DH and I have decided to get him assessed and would like to be assured we had a good assessment. Can anyone recommend? We live near Plymouth but happy to travel for good assessment

I can highly recommend Future Steps but they are based miles away from you in Darlington! Might be worth a call to see if they can recommend anyone more local. Or you could try the Dyspraxia Foundation? Good luck! X
