Present for a two year old with Downes Syndrome

We'd like to buy a really nice/useful/good fun/educational present for our friend's little boy who has Downes Syndrome. Can anybody reccommend anything that might be appropriate?

i agree with bubble my son who has downs had a bubble machine and he loved it, hes 9 now and still loves except he dances around with the bubbles now.
