Can anyone tell me how and if I could get funding to pay for my daughters shoes to fit over her leg splints. She has extremely wide fit in a normal shoe and try as I might I just can't get shoes to fit. T and ss orthotics where I normally get her hatchbacks can't supply them anymore as her feet are too big so I need to move up to duna shoes but these are over 100 pound a pair. Can i get some extra money other than dla which I do get at the middle rate but it doesn't go far. Thanks Kim

I don't know what to advise, quimmy, because my DS's shoes to go over a splint are supplied by the orthotics service alongside his splint!
Why aren't they supplying you with the Duna shoes free? I would put pressure on them to do so!
