I'm sure when I had my original letter the award was until 2013 (three years) but I've received a renewal pack for this year. I have filed the original letter in such a safe place I can't find it. I phoned and spoke to a friendly man on the advice line and he says if I can show the original letter they'll do something about it. Is there a typical initial claim period of three years that make it worth my while tearing the house apart to try and find the bit of paper, or should I just knuckle down to refilling the forms?
