How can I get IQ test for my son who has dyspraxia?

Ed psych but you'd probably have to go privately. ds' broke down IQ by component- working memory, verbal etc which gave an idea of his strengths and weaknesses and how he might best learn.

ds1 (now 6.5) had an ability test (BAS II I think) when he was 5yrs11mo, it told us his IQ, it was done by ed psych so I'd second the other posts. Sounds like it might have to be private, I think when we looked at it it was about £300 - unluckily school stepped up

Can I ask you a question though... how did you get dx of dyspraxia? ds has high IQ but not performing at school (can barely write) - still no clue from ed psych about what might be the barrier (they come back in Nov to School) I suspect he has/might be dsypraxic
