Hi everyone
Preparing for tribunal for my DS HFA/Aspergers/Dyspraxia /sensory processing disorder, currently in year 4 in mainstream with statement 20 hours LSA.
School has always stressed that he is doing" really well" as his NC level are above average. But I have always felt that his needs were conveniently ignored.
In prep for tribunal we have sent independent OT,Salt and Ed Psych.
All their reports have come back indicating that DS needs are not being met, that school is clueless and that the school culture won't change even with an improved statement and that he won't be prepared for secondary transition as his social communication issues are not being addressed.
He needs small class size max 15,OT on site,Salt on site in a school catering for average and above average abilities.(piece of cake!)
We are in London and I can not seem to find anywhere around but would be happy to move.
I have heard about More House School and would love to hear about anyone with children in the school.
Obviously any other good school recommendations would be greatly received am desperado...
