Special school or ARP?

Hello All,
Is there anyone with an ASD child who has had to choose between ARP and special school from reception year?
I find it so difficult to make that decision; Special school without specific ASD teaching, perhaps a little under my son's ability, but ARP such a daunting prospect as not completely verbal.....
How did you make that decision?
I am in bucks (Wycombe/Aylesbury area),
Thanks

Hi, from what you know what does ARP involve? Is your son mild or further along the spectrum?

Just realised your post was made in November. You have probably made a decision then, which did you go?
