Social Stories - which book would you recommend??

Hi All

I'd like to get a book about social stories suitable for my 9yr old DS who has Aspergers and ADHD.

He will start Year 5 of his mainstream school in September with many new teachers but same peer group. He has had issues with 'shouting out', not sharing his feelings when he is upset or not understanding what he is supposed to be doing. He makes friends but they may stall when he blabbers on an on about his latest obsession.

I'd like to get a book to give me ideas about socail stories that can be used to guide him through these sorts of situations.

I would like something parent-friendly but there is so much on Amazon - I'm loathe to waste my money. Any recommendations for a good, quick book?

Carol Gray is very well known for her input regarding Social Stories. Google her and see what you think.

Hope this helps.

We bought Carol Gray's "new social stories" book, it's brilliant and comes with the stories on cd too so you can edit them and print them off - boom is a bit pricey, around £22 but worth it!
