DD (3.10) has mild CP. She tires quickly and finds going to playgroup without me tiring (although she has recently got a statement, so has had a 1-1 since Feb half term and loves her 1-1!)
I took her trike to playgroup so she could cycle home via Waitrose for lunch. We just made it home before the skies opened. She was also just about on the limit of her stamina. But she made it - about 1 and a half miles!!
Good going, kiddo!
What have your DC done today that have made you smile - big or small, we welcome all achievements here!

Ds hasn't had a meltdown after school...
DS3 didn't lock himself in his bedroom tonight during his meltdown/tantrum...and it only lasted 45 mins !...result !!!!!
Well done Galena's dd!
Ds has put up with having his eyes bathed open every hour and having eyedrops put in.He also did 3 enormous poos, after not having pooed for 6 days.
<punches air>
See - I knew we could find things!
UnChartered always a bonus to get back the clothes you sent out in the morning...
PolterGoose that's great - a calm evening so far...
bizzey That sounds like it was still hard work - but if it's better than other days, hey it's worth celebrating!
hazey hourly eye-bathing sounds tricky... Well done though for persevering! And great to the 3 poos! We've had major constipation issues here in the past so I understand completely! However, since Jan we have pretty much had daily poos AND today she's had 2 without me telling her to use the potty - she's just taken herself off and done it!

Polter cutting nails may be dull but asking for it to be done is fantastic.
Galena well done to your dd. 1&1/2 miles is good going.
Hazey hourly eye baths
. Twice daily drops (for hayfever) was enough of a struggle when Ds was that age.
Ds's trousers split in school today. Major issue for him as apart from the usual embarassment, his pants which his OCD tells him are very germy were exposed. He coped by wrapping his jumper round his waist and changed his trousers with (for him) minimum of fuss when he got home.
(Note to self: he really really needs new trousers)

Poor ds, NoHaudin bit sounds like he coped, which is fab
Aw, bless your ds, NoHaudin, it sounds like he coped with it really well.
The hourly eyebaths aren't a lot of fun, and eye drops 4 x a day on top of that. I think that ds is such a gunky boy, and with the low tone thrown in, he just has real trouble shifting stuff, snot is just pouring out of his nose, his eyes are just covered in green crap and his chest sounds like a wet sponge, poor little sausage. The last time he had an eye infection it took 9 months to shift it, I really hope this one goes a bit quicker.

Very descriptive hazeyjane. I love it - "gunky boy"
Nail cutting and trouser splitting are brilliant, but a Blue Peter badge, I mean a BLUE PETER BADGE, in SILVER!! OMG
Don't you have to revive an extinct species or something to get a silver Blue Peter badge!?
Obviously to get a gold blue Peter badge, you have to create a new species.
