Our SN area is not a substitute for expert advice. While many Mumsnetters have a specialist knowledge of special needs, if they post here they are posting as members, not experts. There are, however, lots of organisations that can help - some suggestions are listed here. If you've come across an organisation that you've found helpful, please tell us. Go to Parents with disabilities, SN teens, SN legal, SN education, SN recommendations.

im so sorry to hear this. im sure there are other people who have similar experiences.

Do his complex needs fit in wth some of the things you might find other mothers posting about on SN? Because whilst how these needs eventuated might not be the same, you will find a lot of support on here for those complex needs.
xx

Sorry to hear your baby was attacked, I haven't gone through this but everyone is very supportive on here. Are you thinking of setting a group up? How old is your LO?

Sorry, I've not gone through this, but can I ask how your baby was attacked? Hope I'm not being insensitive.

I am looking for other parents who had gone through this as well. There are no support groups in the uk that i can find and wanted to know if other parents would be interested in this.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
