DH and I would like to try the sound learning centre with DS to see if it can help with his clarity of speech (and maybe concentration? have read that is might help with this too).

I have been putting headphones on him for a couple of weeks now, and he seems to be getting more and more used to them, but he is supposed to use them for 3 hours twice a day for 10 days in the centre. Goodness that is A LOT. I wonder how DS will cope wearing headphones for all that time.

I spoke to the centre and they told me that they have never had a refusal and not to worry.

How was your experience? Do the staff at the centre engage with the children or play with them so that they don't get too bored? Or are we supposed to bring toys and things?

THANK YOU!!! And I really hope you don't mind me asking.

Oh , thank you so much Tc. Getting DS to sit quietly will be a big task. Very difficult for him to sit still (unless there is a plate of food infront of him ), I wonder if maybe I should wait for him to be older, it is a lot of money and I am worried of not taking full advantage of it.

Will have a think. Thanks again.
xx

DS will be 4 in January, but I am desperate to help him as much as possible (as soon as possible).

Unfortunately we don't live in the UK, so popping in for a chat is very hard. I was going to take advantage of our christmas + new year trip to visit family in the UK and fit in the sound therapy. Maybe will go for a chat and try doing it later in the year (I love organising trips to the UK anyway).

thanks again xx
