I have read about it on here, but never had it happen before. I was dropping dd of at the sn playscheme. it is at a different school(not heres) and has dc's with different types of sn.
this lovely little boy came up and sniffed me. he was soooooooo sweet.

This has happened to me once....I'd collected ds from his once-in-a-blue-moon SN Saturday club and was loading him into the car at the same time as one of his classmates was being loaded into his car (the two cars were parked next to each other) when this other boy made a sudden movement towards me and (to my great shame), I moved out of the way because I thought he was going to bite me!!! I felt really bad about it afterwards but it was the suddenness of his movements that took me by surprise! My ds doesn't sniff people (just objects!!), so I'm not used to this behaviour.

I should clarify that the reason I moved out of the way was because ds has come home on more than one occasion with very large bite marks on his arms and hands, so I know that there is a biter in his class (of 6 kids) and I wasn't sure if it was this boy!!

My ds sniffs, and licks people and objects, and 'twiddles' people's long hair - mainly mine.

Ds licks skin and sniffs hair and necks (and chews clothes) he also likes to stroke and sqeeze things. Embarresing when its a ladies er top half! He likes ruffling hair too - particularly babies in pushchairs (reachable height) but this may be because people ruffle his gorgeous curls! Fortunatly he has learnt to say 'cute baby' at the same time!

my ds sniffs. Grandparents smoke so they really get sniffed as does anything they bring in the house. Handcream, nice fabric conditioner and hair products are a favourite but at his ms school he sniffs "football man" (his discription is self explanitory!) probably because he is sweaty!
