Hi Raine3,

We take DS2 there.

He did a two-week block in January, and since then has gone most weeks.

They have physios, OT, and SALTs who are all Bobath-trained.

We see the Director reasonably often, and get an OT most weeks (sometimes with an SALT too).

DS2 has come on so much since he started.

We have had to pay for it all ourselves though - DS2's neurologist and community pediatrician did refer him, but only on the basis we would self-fund .

All the best,

Hi, thanks for that MM, I am in Northants but I don't mind the travel if it's going to be worthwile.... she (cons paed) brought it up at the last family meeting and also said that because it would be such a benefit to DS she thought they would fund it too ... I'll keep my fingers crossed as I imagine it's expensive !

Riven ... I mentioned it first to the Physio & portage, then the physio emailed the paediatrician saying she thought that it would be good for DS .... in fact I thought I would have to nag at them for months so it came as a shock when they all agreed, but then I suppose if you keep nagging or even go to your local GP (take some info with you) and ask him/her to ask the paed to make the refferal
