hi everyone,

i hope this isnt cheeky, but i was rather hoping that some of you might have some fun memories of successful/rewarding speech and language therapy!

i am a student speech therapist and would love to hear from anyone who has received therapy for very delayed speech.

i am going to be doing a session working with a 32 month old boy who says 'uh' 'uh' for all his needs.

in all other respects he is developing without any particular concern.

if any of you can remember any fun little activities that your child responded well to,i would be most grateful to add them to my meagre bag of tricks!

i wont be on mn anymore tonight, but thanks in advance,
Anna

Hi Anna. I think it might be best if you email [email protected] as I think they like to know and gve relevant permissions to people who want to use the site for work/college research. Regardless of whether you are a regular MNer or not....

Have a look at www.listen-up.org for some ideas. Also members.tripod.com/Caroline_Bowen/home.html

Can your little patient hear well?
