Can anyone help me understand Sunderland Urine Results

We have just had the results back from Daniel's urine sample but I am not really sure what they mean.

They indicate high levels of IAG 98%?
and then casomorphine correlation 1-3 @ 80% but say the casomorphine isn't at significant levels.

Daniel is on a gluten/casein "reduced" diet ie: he eats gluten free bread and has goats milk and occasionally wheat cereals (shreddies/wheetabix).

I am no clearer as to whether we need to cut gluten/casein out. Does anyone understand the results.

Ds's result was the same (I think the majority are) in that gluten showed up as significant but not casein. There should be an accompanying letter with the results that tell you whether or not Daniel might benefit from the diet, but reducing isn't enough if it's to make any difference so you'll have to cut it out altogether (no cereals!).

I don't have time to go through my results at the moment but from what you've said it does sound as though gluten free might be worth a try.

DS2's were similar but since he was already cf, we put it down to that. I think you can ring Sunderland if you have queries (am sure I remember Jimjams saying that a long while ago)

Yes, I spoke to them direct too and they were very helpful. Mind you, they can be hard to get hold of. I found it useful to email them, then any replies to your queries can be kept and referred to later (also comes in handy for DLA and assessments!).
