Ive taken the plunge, and decided to put a hook and eye lock on the bathroom door, my ds will insist he wants the loo when im having a bath, he's nearly 12 now and ive decided enough is enough! I will tell him when im going to have a bath and ask if he wants the loo and then if he does will wait till he's finished and then put the hook and eye on, ive bought that design because then he can lock the door too, i have visions of stuck bolts etc with any other degign! Fingers crossed the strategy works..... Oh and WHEN i win the lottery we will have a downstairs toilet and i will also get my fusebox moved indoors from the garage! but thats another story!

Good on you lottie - I think you deserve a bath in peace now he's 12! I have my DS in there when I have a bath, and he throws every single bath toy in with me, though I try and explain mummy doesn't want ducks and boats in her lovely vanilla bubble bath. But he's only 5, so the time will come when he will have to s** off when I have a bath too!

Youve just reminded me of about three years ago when my then bf when up to the loo a couple of hours after my ds had had a bath, he found the bath full of plastic trains and came down stairs and announced f....... hell youve got Paddington bloody Station in your bath!!!

Yep, that's my bath too! Only my DS also puts assorted items in there, could be pen tops, or Mr Potato Head, or all the shampoo bottles, or whatever has been his fave item that day!
