Went to see our neurologist yesterday.
We thought DS2 had CP, along with other problems. He has never quite fit the box though, and everytime we go to see a specialist, they seem to find something else wrong or something that has changed, and sit there scratching their heads.
Neurologist says she now thinks he may have a mitochondrial disorder, and wants to do a lumbar puncture, skin test and loads of bloods. Luckily, he's having a GA soon anyway, so they will do them then, but I am so .
I don't want him prodded and poked anymore! He has had it his whole life (he's 4 by the way).
We had just got our lives back together after coming to terms with CP, and now they are trying to find a different reasons for his problems!
Sorry to be so depressing - just had to tell somebody how I feel
I need some TLC!

Hugs to you, and your brave little ds2.
You are not depressing at all, I think you are doing extremely well to be coping with all that!
Your ds is very lucky to have such agreat mum.
I hope they find out after the next lot of tests, and I am sure you will be able to cope, you have already proved you can.
Take care,x
