So pleased, Daniel has started eating grapes and banana at nursery. He has never touched before and has always been quite a fussy eater. We tried to give him some grapes here over the weekend but he just threw them at his sister (we tried not to smile and it was interaction hehe). Anyway, I have thought about whether we speak to nursery about how they present it, what the bowls are like that he might decide that he can apply the rules at home. Also if his little sister is eating the same she might encourage him? Does anyone have any other methods for getting repeated success in a new environment?

many thanks
kirsty

I would just keep offering grapes and banana, it might take him a while to realise it is the same thing he has been eating at nursery as he is seeing it in a different context. I have a similar problem as DS1 is said to eat all his food with a fork at nursery but is fairly reluctant to do so at home. Also my DS2 who is much younger is starting to eat very well with a fork so I am waiting to see if peer pressure will work
