Hi all

Just wondered if any of you knew the makaton signs for 'crane' and 'cement mixer'.

I teach baby signing normally but one of the families I'm working with tomorrow also has a child who uses makaton and they have asked me these signs and I do not have a clue!

Thank you

BSL user here, I use a clawed hand held down wards on extended arm move hand and arm up and across while lip speaking "crane". Not sure on BSL foe mixer, I use word "mixer" and 1st finger pointed away whirled round along with "lorry" & large version of car sign.
regional variations may occur !
If you do find out the ofical makaton versions do posthere and let me know, boy is nuts about large machines.
