Father Christmas................

My ds who is 11 and deaf with learning difficulties went back to his old school for their christmas play last Saturday. I was asked to provide something he would like for under a fiver for FC to give him.

I managed to find a video of the original Willy Wonka. When he came home from the party with his carer he turned to me and said you wrapped up that present for FC didnt you?........... I said i hadntand he then said i know who did wrap it and rushed off to the computer... he then googled a picture of an elf and said that the elf had wrapped the present!!! I said that was right. I don't like telling fibs but want to hang on to the FC mystery for as long as possible.

I asked DS (4) whether he thought FC was real or made up. He VERY indignantly said "he's real"!
