Happi;y, it was a very positive meeting!
They admit ds1 has had a time of it lately and they are worried they will lose him, so they are taking a different approach now.
4 of the kids that ds1 likes but also who qu8alify as sensible are being allocated (subject to parents agreemnent, I spoke to 2 parents today who were very keen) time with ds1 in a circle setting where ds1 can ask for input on different problems he's having- initially after discussing with hsi 1-1 whom he is quite close with. They will also be keeping an eye out generally for him.
The teachers are making sure thats oemone is watching ds1 at all times, albeit from a distance so yhe doesn't feel 'snooped on'
The two ringleaders are being dragged in to the school with theor aprents to explain themselves (ha!)- In know that one Mum thinks 'its just boys', but the other will be horrified!
They are also approaching the NAS etc for help leading ASD awareness classses for the whole yeargroup
Obv. will need to see what happens, but came away feeling much more happy about ds1's safety and that he is cared for.
