my son 7 yrs old and has autism, went to his only school mates house for tea been a few times but they are off to new zealand this week for a year, anyway DS was presented with his tea, which was one of his favs , chips and cheese and tomato pizza with no bits, and most importantly chips and pizza not touching on plate, he would not eat it and told his mates mum " yuck, you can't make me eat that, it's worse than school dinners" suppose its good that the mum used to be an LSA and didnt take it to heart.

Bless him!

Ds1 came out of school one afternoon and told me that his usual teacher was away.

Me: Oh. Did you have Mrs M instead? (usual replacement for Reception teacher)

Ds1: No. Had a different teacher.

Me: Who was she?

Ds1: She had really big hair and lots of spots!

Nothing like telling it how it is eh?

Sorry fio but LOL!

While changing ds2's nappy while ds1 was watching:

Me: Yes, ds2 has got a small bum.

Ds1: Yes and has got a small bum too.

(thinks carefully for a moment)

Ds1: And mummy's got an ENORMOUS bottom!

Sadly he was being very honest.

They really are honest when it comes to body parts aren't they? My ds said to me when i'd come out of the shower that I was very spotty (I have a skin complaint), cheers darling!

MrsF - that's funny, my ds used to tell me I laugh like a chicken! (Never heard a chicken or a pig laugh!)
