Not a flounce, just a break. Have rather large report to write & am getting close to the deadline so shouldn't be wasting time on here.
Also seems a good time to go as good old Andy Wakefield has his GMC (is it with the GMC?) hearing tomorrow, no doubt he'll be well and truly hung out to dry and I can't waste a week arguing about it on here. FWIW the real tragedy is that Simon Murch is up as well (which is odd as I thought he'd distanced himself from the original paper, perhaps he didn't, or not far enough). Why a tradgedy? Because as far as I know he's the only gastroenterologist left in the UK who has the skills & experience to treat severely autistic children. Whatever the cause, many do have colitis, it's a painful condition & well tbh I think children in pain should receive some sort of treatment. So fingers crossed for Murch. If he goes as well the children will just have to live with it.
Hope the summer isn't as bad as everyone is expecting. I'm stockpiling the wine.....
