sore face everytime she goes to respite.....

It does happen sometimes at home. But more often than not it after a respite night.
I think(know) it is caused by her drobbling on her pillow then sleeping on it.
at home I always check it before going to bed and turn it over.(the couple of times it happened at home was when I forgot) I have asked them to do this at respite but seems they arn't as she has come home all red again.
do you think i should talk to the nurse/doctor and make it a medical issue.
They did try to say it was the washing powder in that case though it would't just be on her chin and cheeks(sh has a fringe so that bit covered.

Would it help if you put barrier cream on her face before she goes? Or would it all just be rubbed off by bedtime?

every now and then she gets little red patches on her face. they have tried every thing and it all made it worse. I just put a spot of vaseline on it when i check her.

I would speak to the doctor, it wouldn't take much for them to turn her pillow over and in doing that should make your DD more comfortable

Make an appointment to speak to the manager and explain your concerns, they would prefer to make her comfortable imo

since posting I have thought that maybe they use those plastic pillow covers. so will be checking. if so will arrange for her own pillow to go in.
