DS has ASD and coordination problems. He is 12 and now having a massive growth spurt. Any tips on helping him, he nearly fell down a flight of stairs recently. He has always looked uncoordinated when he does most things but now it is just so much worse. (Most of the time we are just looking on he funny side of it)

You could ask an OT for advice they could give him specific exercises to do.
For me doing Pilates has improved my core strength and stability which has led to a lot less falls and trips.
Also horse riding is brilliant as you are using all your limbs independently while maintaining your balance.

Yy to horse riding - great for core stability and uses so many muscles that don't otherwise get used! Otherwise any exercise to help with core strengthening as his centre of gravity changes.

My DD has CP and always becomes unsteady during a growth spurt. We do extra physio and stretches to help the muscles catch up with the bone growth. She usually takes 3-6 months to stabilise again so I have to watch her like a hawk when we're out in case she falls or trips over!
