Is there any point in seeing an ophthalmologist to rule out any visual problems for someone with ASD...?

DD currently avoids daylight, wears sunhats, etc...

Not sure what else I can do to make her comfortable?

Bump.

I'm not sure what more help I can offer my daughter..,

What support can I give her aside from sunglasses and hats to reduce the horrors that light induces - she doesn't like playing outside and this prevents her playing with other children / leaving the house / participating in sport / eating outside with the rest of the family...

She don't wear glasses / hoods / hats at school as she doesn't want to look different... :(

Anyone have any ideas?
