10 months old DS doesn't bat objects with hands

DS is 10 months old and doesn't bat objects, neither is he trying to reach them. He also doesn't follow objects. He would look at TV screen/Laptop/Tablet that too only for few seconds. If I give something in his hands he will grab it for few seconds before he drops it. He observes his hands, bring them together and put finger/fist in his mouth.
He started rolling when he was 4 months old and started sitting when he was 8 months. But he doesn't sit for long time, like more than 10 minutes because he rocks a lot.
Ophthalmologist says his eyesight is fine. His hearing is also okay. Neurologist says his MRI is NOT normal and prescribed some medicine to him. Neuro said its a 'wait and see' process and we can't do anything else.
I just wonder anyone of you in the same situation? Ped/Neuro didn't recommend any therapy and I'm looking for some exercises to start for my DS. Couldn't find any information online for the problem my DS is having.

What exactly did the neurologist say was wrong - 'NOT normal' sounds very vague! Also what medicine was prescribed? What is it for??

I would want to speak to your ds's paed and asking for answers and if there are no definitive answers (often there aren't) I would want to know what support is available and what next steps will be.

Hi Hazeyjane,
Neuro said DS has 'Birth Asphyxia'. He said MRI shows 'Brain atrophy with hyponyelination' due to which DS shows 'global developmental delay'. He prescribed NOOTROPIL for the memory enhancement and to improve his cognitive functioning, besides some vitamins were also prescribed.
In my country there isn't a lot of support for the Kids. I want to search some relevant videos on internet so I can start therapy for my son at home.
Just looking here if any parent's infant has similar issues like my DS's.

Hi there....do you mind my asking what country you are in? Did you have a difficult birth?

Hi Matt,
DS actually born in Seoul, South Korea. I had a difficult birth. During labor my BP reached very high and I got seizures. So I gave birth via emergency c-sec.
We came back to Pakistan when DS was 6 months. I already started medicine to my DS but wondering if there is some kind of therapy for the infant whose response is slow, doesn't make eye contact and doesn't follow objects.

DS was admitted in NICU soon after birth as he had inflammation (meconium provoked) and was there for about 10 days before he was discharged.
