I think after years of difficult behaviour, worry and stress, I'm just sooo exhausted and can't seem to recover from it. I feel it's making me a rubbish Mum :-(

Currently resting while my little one is at Grandparents, but i can switch off and relax. I feel achey and tired all the time!

Just a moan...!

Same here blossom Sad
Most days now I'm just so tired from all the added pressure that SN children bring Sad
I've made the first step and spoken to my GP about it. She's referred me to talking therapy. We'll see how it goes.

Hope you had a relaxing sunday evening! All the SEN mums I know feel exhausted by it all, me included. I have a word document on my computer where I have written down all the lovely things about my DS and people who have helped us and really cared - I have a read when I am feeling down and it does cheer me up. The exhaustion is harder. Someone told me - its not a race, its a marathon - how true!

That's so true! Also, nice idea about the word document, may give it a go. :-)

I feel like this constantly. I've got three and two of them have asd and it's exhausting. I just can't seem to reboot myself and get it together. Big hugs xx

I totally understand. We've had a terrible 12 month battle for support, dx, statement etc (plus all the behavioural stuff and stress at home) and I just feel completely and utterly depleted. Like a shadow of my old self. I don't know how to build myself back up again.
