Had a really tough meeting this morning about teenage son (ASD) at his school. Basically he's stopped speaking and is virtually mute. Work full time and usually pick up little ones from wrap around care but thought I'd treat myself and them by picking them up from school. Instead the teacher of my 8 year old decided it was a good opportunity to tell me about his declining behaviour. Just fed up really.

Of course you are fed up. You are going through a really difficult and worrying time with your eldest son and now you have to deal with your younger son's behavior. It's tough. I totally understand that. Hopefully now the teacher has told you, you can deal with your son's behaviour before it gets worse. Thankfully, we have the half term holiday this week.

Thank you xx. I know and I appreciate your message. I think younger siblings of SEN children need as much support.
