now the clock is ticking = served then yesterday and they have until 10am on Thursday so not long to respond.

so far today - absolute silence.

im expecting the same tomorrow and in all honesty can see them just ignoring it and I will then have to actually go through with a judicial review. it was the pre action letter we served yesterday

we are asking for them to put on suitable transport to get my son back to school asap as we now move into our 3rd week. the LA are quoting policy which they seem to have made up and are now flouting the law but I just cant see them backing down - im sick with worry as I just want my son back into school ASAP but without transport there is now way he can get there so we are stuck until the LA back down or a judge orders them to

Good luck. My LA pooped themselves with my JR. Not much they can do if they win

I however was terrified. Once I started it, it was out of my hands.

can't win I mean. JR looks very bad in their public data

Maybe time to do a FOI and make the results public?

"Can I have all of the JR and pre JR numbers relating to non compliance of Sen xyz for Crapshire by year from 2012 - to date. Yours disgustedly bjk"

Hope that works. Did you go to solicitors?

Not as such -a Sen charity helped me as they have a qualified solicitor. Usually they just back down is what everyone tells me but have a feeling I'm going to be the one who will be going all the way which means my son remains out of school

Can't believe this has been necessary. I do hope they see sense soon. If ds2's placement hadn't failed completely we were going to try and get the transport arrangements written into his statement to prevent them trying this sort of thing a third time but I don't honestly know if this would have worked. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get a phone call today saying they have finally seen sense and reconsidered.

I've just got back from the doctors as the stress of it all caused a huge ezcema flare up which I have never had before. My face looks like I've been hit in both eyes as they are so swollen - it's all stress related and now just had to pay a fortune for all the meds but they don't see all of this do they and want they put us through

Fuck me, these people are utterly delinquent.

Is it a straight-up removal of transport bjk, or are they threatening to pull the placement as well? Feel free to point me in the direction of a previous thread, I've not been around that much recently...

Just transport ugger - he's always travelled by himself but school merged in jan and they put him in a taxi with 2 noisy children who squeal and makes lots of noise due to their own disabilities so he got to school distraught and home in the same state. Refused then to get in the taxi and now been 2 weeks with the LA playing games. I am worried about the placement as school 30 miles away so no transport means no placement. School backing us up - deadline is 10am tomorrow and still silence

they have backed down - sort off - transport to be put back in place after half term and then I still have to go through the appeal against the decision they made so not out of the woods yet but can at least for now get him back to school

Well done - it might not be the perfect result but at least there is movement on the situation.
