so normally my son kicks off every single night, hes now been good at home for a few days at night and started not wanting to go to school.
Every morning, "i dont want to go to school, i feel sick, i dont want to go into assembly, they are going to force me!"
Now by hook or by crook i have got him into school, even if we have been late, learning mentor has been meeting him giving him a bit of chill out time then taking him into class.
This morning we had the same again, but then he said im gonna kill myself at school, hes always threatening to kill himself and sometimes he will try, so i told school, anyway tommorow there is going to be no assembly so we will see what happens.
The school see it from the point hes been ok going into assembly for the last few years so they want to keep pushing him into it, i think do they really have too? will it create a bigger problem if they dont force him in? but then again if its stressing him that much??? I have thought about approaching school and saying can he just not go into assembly? but why after all this time? and why does he feel this way about assembly?
