My ds 4 has aspergers early talker clever understanding questions and things you want them to do . Well his 11 month old sister is exactly the same early talker 3 word sentances answering questions easy ones loves books and I'm scared it's history repeating I know the aspergers is genetic as hubby has aspergers although it wasn't officially diagnosed until after son was.

Frankie, dont worry too much yet she may just be an early developer as girls often are. Perhaps look at aspergers in girls as it can be qure different to boys
If it is aspergers you will survive I promise you, just like you Its quite apparent that my DH has it, and I also have a DD with it. DS is also affected but not enough that we are planning to go through the hell of diagnosis as he copes well. There will always be support on here for you when you need it

frankie dont panic, parenting the aspie way will just become your normal! I am a self diagnosed aspie and had much greater difficulty parenting my NT child than my 2 aspie ones!

Your little boy is in probably one of the trickiest ages, he is still little and must need quite a lot of support and you are trying to manage a little one too.

Cut yourself some slack and do the best you can, children with or without special needs dont need perfect parents they just need you to be there for them and be able to adapt and change to their varying needs.

Good luck Flowers
