Just found out that our GP has referred DD to the Newson Centre!

Now we just have to hope the Centre accepts the referral and if they do that I can get to SEPTEMBER in one piece! September is currently when they are making appointments. I know this because I emailed to ask about fees because no one here will see DD as she masks at school.

The GP has a-n essay- list about DD's behaviours which he agrees shows a non NT child. He will send that with the referral.

I'm trying to get a letter from her old school about her anxiety but they are not very helpful. Once I get DS (off with scarlett fever - deep joy) back to school then I may go over and ask the old school in person!

With the old school, is there any type of record that you could ask for that might save them generating something new?

If so it may be easier for them to give you a copy, and you are entitled to one anyway.

The letter would be better, but just an idea in case that doesn't happen.

Senvet the old school is just beyond useless when it comes to paperwork!

DS got L3 in all his KS1 SATs assessments but when they sent his file to his new school they'd put him down as L2 across the board. I had the copy of the paper that came with the end of Y2 report.......

They've sent very little in the way of records apart from UPNs!

Her issues are unlikely to be in her record.

I think I need to get to the class teacher directly... the HT firmly believed it was all learned behaviour from DS........ The class teacher didn't.

I just hope they agree to see us as she is just so not typical as far as most places see a child!
