Has anyone done the Teodorescu writing programme?

My DS has, I reckon, dyspraxia and SPD and has always struggled with writing plus many other fine motor skills such as cutting, buttons etc.
I have bought the Teodorescu Write from the Start programme and am planning to start it today with him, trying to do some everyday though realistically it will probably be 4/5 days/week.
He is 7, in Y2, some of the initial exercises look a bit babyish for him (I'm planning chocolate bribes).
I'd love to hear anyone's stories, preferably success ones!
TIA

Yes - we have just finished the first book with my dd who is 5 nearly 6. We did it through the summer holidays. She has enjoyed doing it (a couple of pages each day) though has found some of the exercises at the end of the book really tricky.

Hard to say how much it has worked as she is still finding letter and number formation tricky (and I dont know what she would have been like without it!) but she has enjoyed. The introductory passages are interesting to read as well - I didnt realise how many different skills were included in handwriting!

The school SENCO recommended it to me.

Good luck!

I bought it in July but plan to get going with it on OT recommendation for DD2.

School started this at the end of last year with ds.
He has no intest in writing and refuses to hold a pen.
The ed psychology stopped them using it this year as she felt it wasn't age appropriate (he's 10) and to consent rate on keyboard skills.
He's showing progress with the keyboard.

I've used it with my son. He hates it but I've persevered. I have seen some improvement but don't know how much progress can be attributed just to this programme as we do various other things too. I do like the way it concentrates on a range of skills eg. Practising clockwise and anticlockwise has helped as DS has a tendency of starting certain letters in the wrong direction.
