This article is worth reading.

I muttered severely at the computer screen on reading some of the pig ignorant and bombastic comments on the BBC's Have Your Say website on this subject. Felt both and .

The ignorant ones have to my mind had an empathy bypass. Some of the comments were quite sensible so perhaps there's still hope for UK PLC yet.

good grief |I see what you mean about the bbc website. This is why I can't be arsed with educating the ignorant. Hope I never have the misfortune to meet either of these 2:

My heart goes out ot any parent with a special needs child, but is it right to mix them with children superior to them, wont this just be a constant reminder of what they cannot do. Surely they're better off on their own.

Lady Mary Warnock was interviewed recently stating that when she said for 'inclusion' she didn't mean to the extenct that it has happened. She advised alot of children with PD and mild/mod learning difficulties who can cope well in mainstream school. Not ALL children with disabilities which is happening.

I can't read the other comments, where are they? and i must say I am not suprised. There are some sanctimonious bitches about tbh

I reported that comment made by P Thompson to the mods on that website as I found it offensive. I sincerely hope it is removed.

Alan - if you go to www.bbc.co.uk/news and see the Special Needs piece on that page it will take you to the have your say section on this topic.

i met a girl on a course this week who works in a sn club, the funding they receive is awful, it makes me mad because my company is willing to pay out so much for worthless training and they have hardly anything.
