Ds's sensory needs were assessed as part of a general OT assessment. So, his first OT assessment lasted about 2 hours, covered a bit of talking and a lot of doing, using a range of 'props', therapy ball, rolling him up and squashing, balancing and catching, fine motor and handwriting, loads and loads especially assessing his vestibular and proprioception senses as well as touch because ds is very touch sensitive/tactile defensive. Make sure ds is in loose comfy clothes. We were sent away with the Sensory Profile to complete and return. Our whole OT experience has been fantastic.

DS is having his tomorrow with an OT. Myself and DH are attending. Anyone else had an experience of this, what happens?
