In bed
With flu
Kids haven't even been in to see me
.....think they are scared of the pale sweaty coughing husk that has replaced their mother!
Happy Mother's Day to you all, whatever you are doing today x
Badvoc, I had that myself last month. Ugh. You poor thing.
Happy Mother's Day. I hope that you are brought lots of analgesia and soothing drinks. Get well soon x

Oh no!
Still, at least you're getting a rest and a lie in
.
Fish and chips at the seaside for us at Streaky Towers, then ds has an indoor surfing thingy this afternoon.
What's everyone else up to? Have a fab Mother's Day, all
.
Thank you.
Had booked my first ever Mother's Day meal at a lovely hotel.
So am feeling a tad sorry for myself today, which is deeply pathetic.

Haven't felt this ill for a loooong time...
I might actually try and have a wash today...didn't manage yesterday!
Then re book the meal for next month after Easter. The flu will have definitely have passed and the restaurant won't be heaving. Also it will be a beautiful sunny Spring day and guaranteed to make you feel special x
Sally...what a good idea
Have a lovely day x

.
Instead its a Quick visit to M and MiL, then church, then work.
I got breakfast in bed! Two cards made by the short two and two cards bought by the big two with lovely sentiments inside. Feeling the love today! Have a great day all of you.

Got 2 lovely cards made at school and pre school and 2 bunches of supermarket carnations
I like carnations though so that's ok.
Will have to send dh down to my mothers with her card and cd.

All calm and happy here. Lots of cards and some home made gifts. Got a new troll bead which was an angel. Rather apt as it made me remember my own mum today who is sadly no longer with us.
Younger son busy on minecraft, elder son is feeling poorly so crashed on the sofa. Going to get dressed and me and my 9 year old daughter going to go out and have coffee and cake in our favourite cafe and get away from the boys for an hour or so

I got flowers and chocolates(the kids favourites!) and a lovely card DS made at school, however he associates cards with birthdays so I've had happy birthday sang to me on a loop since 5 this morning
If the queen can have 2 birthdays a year then it's fine by me too
Happy Mother's Day ladies .

Not only did I get a card to display with a picture of ds's current favourite creature... I have now been informed that we've all got the concept of Mother's Day wrong. Apparently, according to ds, it is actually a day for mothers to show off their mothering skills, and that I will have to work very hard

Polter that is so funny...
Love little polters take on the day but how are you finding the time to be on here shouldn't you be busy showcasing all your motherly talents
Awwwww....
Sleet here, no snow yet.
Happy Mother's Day lovelys
Am sat on the bed with some chocolate and Ame ('mummy, we're drinking wine!'), listening to my new Frank Sinatra cd (from girls, ds got me Nick Drake - good taste!) it is lovely. Dh handed me the Ame, chocolate and iPad and told me to have a 'puddle of peace and quiet'.
Breakfast in bed didn't quite work out, because ds was screaming the place down, he is absolutely encrusted in snot, poor little thing.
Have just been for a walk to put flowers on a dear friend's grave, whilst dh starts getting lunch ready, then dd gave me a poem she had written, which made me cry, I feel very very lucky.
Hope everyone has lovely days.
