How the potty training and sharing rooms is going...!

Started to attempt to potty train Ellie (4 and a half) the other week.

She has done suprisinly well Smile she was dry at School(SN) for 3 days before she broke up for Easter Hols!

It has been a little bit harder for us and we have put her in pull ups when we have gone out, but she has been in knickers here and at families houses and done well

Today she has been dry all day!!!

I could never imagine her saying "I need a wee" but she is doing so[smile}

Ok, she usually shouts "poo" instead of wee, or "poo everywhere" (there isn't)in a very loud and panicky voice which gets me running everytime Grin

We also moved her into Graces room last week. The sleep is not particulary any better (didn't expect it to be, but it had improved slightly a feww weeks ago anyway) but it has worked out really well. She hasn't woke Grace once and we have the spare room we should have had!!

My little girl suddenly seems grown up!!!

Sorry for going on!!

They are things to be proud of. And to remember when you can't imagine her doing something else she can't do at the moment.

Well done Ellie Grin

wow - that gives me hope - the toilet training issue - have been trying it on and off with dd1 with little success..... but keep plugging away. We have bought s teppy thing for the toilet which I hope will make her feel more independent and hope that may be the breakthrough..... have consulted with psych and OT - they came up with very little that I had not been doing already - great help they were Smile

But am perservering and will try again more consistently during her two week holidays in a couple of months.
