I am not sure

I wonder if the people 'who haven't a clue'!!! sit there with 100's of DLA forms in front of them working their way through them as quick as they can

They just add up the minutes we put down and look out for certain words so they can tick them off

Not sure if they would take the time to watch your video.

But others may disagre??

Maybe there is no harm trying

I don't think they would have the time or facilities.

ok, not done then film, but have taken photos of the marks she has done to herself, her eczema, and the big bruise on her foot. will take more as needed, and include them in the reconsideratiojn forms.

I would contact them misdee about this. I really don't think they would advise pictures. As I know ds school was not allowed to do this even for statementing. I think the key is supporting evidence, bascially all the info you have about dd2. Give examples in the form and supporting reports. larsxx

yes, but this is me taking pics of injuries that my own child has inflicted on herself. they said to back up as much as possible, and unless i get the GP to document every single mark that happns in the next week then i have no prrof that these injuries exsist. I need to prove it to them., OT, SN HV are hopfully going to be backing up my claim. even if i dont send the pics i can use them to show the SN HV.

Yes, misdee I would take the pictures to back up what your saying to GP, HV, etc. I think you will be ok it's about the level of the care they require and long as you have supporting evidence that dd2 needs more care due to her condition, age, etc, you will be fine. Is anyone helping you fill in the form? larsxx

the forms have already been done. they turned dd2 down for care and mobility. this is for our reconsideration.

Misdee, diagnoisis may have change but level of care remains the same, this is terrible you should be receiving DLA. It sounds like the evidence from the third parties was not too good.

I understand a change in cirumstances is if a child get's better or worse?

State your case and ask for further reports to be far clearer if you can. Detailing the difficulties. Remember to state the worse examples . larsxx

i am not asking the pre-school for a report. will be calling SALT on monday morning to ask where dd2 report is, and if she can also do a quick letter about how jumbled dd2 speech is.

they just havent read the forms. at all. i am hoping the new decision maker does read them.

A friend of mine has just received the high rate care. Give as much evidence misdee as you can, any report which reflects what you have wrote on the form.

Spell out the dangers to them what dd2 faces everyday. You already know i'm sure. Good luck misdee, keep us posted. larsxx
