I can't believe they break up tommorow. The holiday seems so weird with easter at the end. Hope you have all got nice things planned. DD has 3 days each week at playscheme. Friends over next friday as her birthday the following week. daft kid insisted on going to playscheme on it!!!

I think I'm already in hell. Ds1 and ds2 have been ill for a week and it's Meltdown City here. Ds2's pre-school has already closed for the Easter holidays so there's no escape. He's been screaming, kicking and punching me most of the morning while ds1 bursts into tears every 2 minutes and whines at me.

The only good thing is that dd is obviously already used to the noise and just ignores it completely 99% of the time.

Only another 3 weeks to go......

Gosh, glad I'm not the only one who's thinking "Uh-oh, only one more afternoon session, then at home with kiddies til 20th April" (which, at the moment, feels like all of April!).

Not complaining, really, love being with them (and don't miss the school runs/refusing to get in the car etc etc). But......!!!

I am absolutely dreading the official start of the holidays next week. In some ways it's probably worse than the summer holidays because even though the Easter holidays are shorter there are no playschemes for ds1 and ds2. Dh also goes back to work on Monday and - joy of joys - the midwife has told us that if dd's jaundice hasn't gone by Monday I will need to take her to the hospital for a blood test and possible phototherapy. Should be lots of fun if ds1 and ds2 are still having frequent meltdowns.

Excuse while I scream for a moment:

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

i feel better already. :o

sorry butting in. About the jaundice. Heard of biliblankets? It's like the mr bump cool pads but bigger and not cool (hope you follow) but it slips under a vest and we thought better than full on phototherapy where from memory baby would have to have eyes covered. Just a thought if it's suggested on monday.
