Hi all. I have tentatively booked the room for Wed 31st October (halfterm).

I am going to see it tomorrow and will confirm arrangements then.

Time wise I thought mid-morning but also that as Coff has the longest journey we should try to fit in with her.

If anyone has any thoughts on time or any other requirements they want me to investigate, can you post on here or PM me before 11 am tomorrow please.

Anyone else who can come let me know.

Once the details are fixed I will PM anyone who has replied on this or previous threads with the details.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you.

31st isn't our half term - we're off the week before. :(

AE Exeter centre of town I'm afraid. Be lovely to see you.

Oh sorry Galena. Hope most people are on half term that week I am afraid I just assumed it would be the same for most places.

If a lot of people can't make it it might be possible to change.

It's ok - I know a lot of places are that week. I think Gloucestershire are just being awkward!

Great Coff. Can you tell me what time a reasonable train would get in and then I can book a time. As the groups that usually use the room aren't meeting in half term we have pretty much free choice.

Plenty of taxis at the station or you can get an H bus which takes you within 5 mins walk or it is walkable about 25 mins from St Davids station though.

If I can get Ds to help with the technology I'll do a map link for anyone who needs it when I PM everyone tomorrow or the weekend.

Judging by rail times I can arrive at Exeter Central at about 1.20pm? the journey is over 3 hours and I have to drive to the station first to catch it. Would that be ok with everyone? I am guessing it would be close to 2pm before I found anyone?

Before I book and book a journey back how long is everyone staying in Exeter for? I am not at all fussy on what time I go home Grin

Could book 1pm to 5 or 12 to 4pm and then hopefully everyone could overlap a bit even if not stay the full time. Thoughts anyone?

We have a kitchen and table and chairs so if anyone wants to bring lunch or pop out to shops a few minutes away to get some that would be doable.

BTW zzzzz there is some pay and display on road parking nearby a few spaces even opposite centre door. It would be a bit hit and miss whether you could get a space though.

DS is 7 but prefers older children. He is into guns, tombraider, more guns and latest music, food oh and what every adult does for a living, why they wear their hair that way and can they stand on one leg, climb a wall and whistle dixie at the same time Grin

Report
coff33pot · 05/10/2012 18:12

when I say prefers he is gentle as can be with younger ones but will talk the hind legs off a donkey when he finds a teen to talk too/follow :)

I'm working on it presently, need to convince DH to have the day off work, no way I'm dragging all 3 to Exeter on the train, no matter how much fun they might think it! 1 maybe, but not 3 :-)

Report
coff33pot · 06/10/2012 00:13

Well if you are coming from Cornwall end JJWMummy I am in coach D all booked. If your DH cant get time off then catch same train and I can lend a hand as I am only bringing one :)
