Amnio mat alarms been going off

dd has a very complex cardiac condition. recently, since about december, her amnio alarm has been going off twice a week. before this it only went off once when she was a newborn. we thought it might be because she now moves about so we turned the sensitivity up. this afternoon the alarm went off and she was right on top of where the amnio mat was. i have arranged a doctors appointment for wednesday. we haven't seen our cadiac consultant since mid oct (although a cardiac doctor always checks dd over when she's brought in with chest infections) and our next appointment is 3rd feb, this is the longest we've been without one.

oh, forgot to put: has anyone else had experiences of this happening? if so what's being done about it?

it's an apnoea detector mat, not amnio! i asked dp for the name of the detector mat and i thought he said amnio! i'm just so stupid. anyways, anyone else had experience of this?
