S.C.I ? anyone have any info on this?

My DS school are arranging extra help for him, they called it S.C.I (i think) to do with his lack of communication skills (he is suspected of having mild autism) Does anyone know anything about this are can direct me to a website.

They will also be calling in a languge phyologist (sp?) what is the difference between the 2

Yes, In Worcestershire, will have to ask the teacher again and see if they have any paper work on it, they can give me.

OK it is called A.I.S, they are the blanket of special needs who specialise in communication difficulties, who will actually observe and access paitients in the classroom, and give advice to the teachers and myself on ways to help improve his communication skills.
